Why Cherry Valley Manor?

Cherry Valley Manor is a unique Bed and Breakfast for many reasons.  We have stayed at many fine properties and learned what we like and dislike about them.  At our romantic B&B we tried to make things the way we would enjoy them if we were guests.

A Beautiful House 
We built a house of our dreams and as empty-nesters converted it to a Bed and Breakfast shortly after that.  This means you can enjoy the freshness and thorough cleanliness of a new house.

Our interiors are spacious and airy with large windows looking out at scenic views.  Tall ceilings, elegant furniture, and unique lighting fixtures invite the guests to look up and around in awe.  Our suites have lots of individuality and boast amenities like romantic private terraces, cozy fireplaces, Jacuzzis and hot tubs for two.

What was once a piece of the woods became a blooming park with an elegant and welcoming house at it’s heart.

A Romantic Garden
Our house painted in gentle sunny hues is surrounded by tall trees and abundant greenery.  In the spring time, your arrival will be greeted by tulips, daffodils, cherry blossoms and cascading wisteria.  In summer your walk to the pool will be adorned by bushy lilies and colorful roses.  Enter the garden side of the house through a gate romantically garnished by blooming vines.  Hydrangeas and inpatients, tall decorative grasses and Masdevallias, begonias and geraniums – gardening is our passion and hard work all year around.

A small gurgling pond with a manmade waterfall will soothe your senses.
Hammocks, swings, and wicker chairs invite lounging and contemplating the wondrous beauty and serenity of nature.  A green house provides fresh veggies and herbs for our delicious breakfasts.

A Heated Pool – a unique feature for Northeastern inns 

Enjoy the loungers for pool-side relaxation and take a refreshing dip in the middle of a sweltering day.   In the evening, gaze at the romantic lighting that illuminates the water as you hold hands while gently rocking in the swing.  The property has beautiful landscaping, complete with lush greenery, roses, hydrangeas, lilies, wisteria and other blooming flowers.  A small gurgling pond features a mini waterfall and water lilies.

King-size Beds
If you are like us and enjoy having plenty of space to stretch out, you know how frustrating it is to always find that the king bed suite is already booked. That is why five out of our six suites feature king-size beds.  And not only are they large, they are also beautifully romantic featuring elegant four-poster design, canopies or alcove placement.  Smooth like butter, hand-pressed linens await you after an eventful day.  Consider enhancing your relaxation with an in-room massage treatment. 
Jacuzzis, Hot Tubs and Fireplaces 
If you believe bed and breakfasts are small converted houses with shared bathrooms down the hall, come to our B&B to be pleasantly surprised.  Not only are all the bathrooms completely private and ensuite, but they all feature state-of-the-art plumbing amenities.  Most rooms feature jacuzzis and hot tubs on the private decks.  There are other fun features like double sinks and two-person showers as well as massage showers and beautiful sinks.
We think fireplaces are cozy and romantic.  They can be there to set the mood or to be at the center of attention.  That is why we have them in most of the rooms.  Our living room features a large wood burning fireplace that welcomes travelers with a cheery fire in colder months.  When guests arrive they are offered slippers and there are cozy robes in the rooms.  Let the relaxation and romance reign…
Breakfast for two with custom time slots and dietary restrictions respected
So many times we find B&Bs offer breakfast from 8 to 9 and if you want to sleep late, then you are missing half of the “bed” and “breakfast” experience.  But aren’t getaways supposed to be relaxing?  We offer our guests a choice of time slots from 8:30 to 10.  Early risers can get started on their day, and those that need their sleep can take their time.  We like seeing our guests leave us well rested.
We make breakfast from scratch for every couple and serve it hot by the scheduled time.  We have our signature menus, but can make slight modifications respecting a variety of dietary needs, like vegetarian, gluten-free etc.  While it is not possible to make new dishes on request, we are happy to omit or substitute undesired ingredients.
An Ideal Location
We are located in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, which is one of the Top 25 most visited tourist destinations in America (according to Forbes) along with places like Grand Canyon and Niagara Falls.  We are the very first exit in the Pocono Mountains area of Pennsylvania, together with the regional visitor’s center and are located under 1hr30minute drive from New York City and Philadelphia.
Our area of the Pocono Mountains is brimming with all sorts of activities like hiking, biking and various river sports; horse-back riding, dog sledding, golfing, pick-your-own-farms, wineries and breweries, outlet shopping and antiquing, stock car racing, hot air ballooning, waterparks, ziplining, shooting ranges, paintball, etc. etc. – the list is endless.
We are an all-season property with skiing slopes within under 15 miles away, with foliage season attracting visitors from the whole country and with spring and summer time setting the stage for an endless array of outdoor activities.
We are easy to find, located 3 minutes away from the exit.  We are situated in a quaint residential countryside with main streets of two towns a few miles away.
